Bob - Bob is Elmer's commute partner and buddy.

Charlie - Charlie is Ellen's boss.

Elmer - Elmer is married to Ellen.  They have a son, Jeremy.  Elmer works for a dot.com company, and he travels a lot.  His relationship with Ellen isn't happy.  They have very little sexual contact and this bothers Elmer a lot.  You can read about Elmer in PMTH NEWS 12/01/00 and 01/01/01, in the first imaginary transcript of a dialogue with Ellen, and in his second conversation with Ellen in which he fixes dinner.  There is also a short conversation between Elmer and Bob on their commute to work, and there is a transcript of a therapy session that was done by Gary Stofle, an online therapist, in a chatroom with a live audience.  In the chatroom, Elmer was played by Val Lewis and who played him in such a way that Elmer conformed to the history he has developed.  Click here to see the transcript of the therapy session.

Ellen - Ellen is married to Elmer and they have one son, Jeremy.  She works for a human resource department in a large catering company.  She feels very withdrawn from Elmer sexually, unhappy with what she feels to be an imbalance in their work, and frustrated by having gained fifteen pounds.  You can read about her in PMTH NEWS 12/01/00, 01/01/01, in the first imaginary transcript of dialogue with Elmer, in the  second conversation with Elmer , and in a story of of a five minute segment of her time at work.  There is also a conversation between Ellen and her boss Charlie..

Edward (Floyd ) Langner - PMTH subscriber, imaginary person.  With the listowner's permission, Floyd presented himself on PMTH late December in 2000.  Unlike the other imaginary people, his identity is unknown to the list.  Although Lois Shawver knows who the imaginary person's author is, she has not told.  Moreover, she invited other people to join as Floyd.  If they do, then it is possible that even she will not know who is posting as Floyd at any given time.

Frank -  Frank is in a relationship with Fran.  They had a conflict in early November that the authors of PMTH wrote.  Fran de-escalated the conflict.  Read about them in the November 2000 issue of PMTH NEWS
