- Round Two of TJT's song war. Set #2 ("Love Would Be" and "Even If") from Round One ended up in a tie, so they both
head off to Round Two to go against "Cookie Crumbs." Also "Too Long" is paired against "Potato Peeler."

- Round One of the song war is ready to begin. The top eight songs were "Cookie Crumbs,"

Lyrics for "Jet Boy Jet Girl" and "Possessed & Dignified"
are now in the lyrics section. Track samples will appear soon!

"Martha," another new track from the upcoming CD is now online and is found in
the audio section. I have put up a new set of song clips from both CD's to minimize your download
time of you selections, however the quality of the clips may not be as good. I've sampled
the new tracks using 8bits/11mHz/mono and most audio programs should be able to read the file.
I apologize for sampling the clips under 4bits the first time around, for many people were not able to listen to them unless
they had an audio driver from Creative Labs.

The ::CatClaus::96 Christmas complilation CD, which features a remastered version
of "Christmas," its not as limited as it was originally planned. Instead of the
limited 500 copies available, 950 copies were made. The complilation CD features
21 tracks from Network bands. Also, the official mailing address of The Jenny Thing has
changed once again. The new mailing address is now venom@silcon.com
and note that it is silcon.com, not silicon. Lastly, the online audio library for The Jenny
Thing will hopefully expand as soon as more space is made available.
November 19, 1996
A 445K audio wave file of "Gone" from the upcoming CD, is now available
for download in the Audio section. A few audio tracks may not work for the next couple
of weeks as I try to resample them into smaller size. Sadly, this will reduce the quality
of the sound, but you'll use less time to download it.

It turns out that the rumor of a possible show in early November was
just a rumor. The Jenny Thing did plan to have a show on the weekend of the
8th because Shyam was coming back up to the Bay Area for the weekend. Unfortunately,
the local venues were booked for this particular weekend. But don't despair,
there are shows to be planned that will correlate to Shyam's school schedule.
And this weekend won't be a total loss for The Jenny Thing because they will use this
time to polish up the upcoming CD.

The Jenny Thing have been recording the last "new" track for the upcoming CD which
still has no title yet. The band still needs to do some mixing on the other tracks
before the CD can be released. There is no date set for when the CD will
be released.
