What can I or can't I post in the message bases?
Anything you want to post you can post, even stuff that the CDA
wants to prevent being on the web. I will, however, delete any flame wars if they
happen to come about or any advertisements totally unrelated to The Jenny Thing.
Must I leave my name for every post submission?
You don't have to leave your real name if you don't want to, but you need to
put a name into that field. Using a handle or another alias, or even anon/anonymous
will suffice.
Can I put html tags anywhere in my posts?
Only the message field allows the use of html tags. If you know how to use html tags,
go for it!
Why are there colons in the message when I try to post a
followup?
For those who cannot fiqure it out, colons appear in the message dialog box
to indicate that those lines are being quoted from the previous message.
Why didn't my post show up?
Your post most likely did not show up, because your browser did not reload the
page, it simply pulled it out of cache. Please reload your browser and it
should then appear.
Where can I get the scripts for this program?
I didn't write the original scripts which formed the backbone of this web board. They were written in Perl and created by Matt Wright. They are
free to anyone who wishes to use them and you can get them as well as other
scripts at: http://worldwidemart.com/scripts/.
If you have complaints about this board, then you go make one yourself!
