Here's Grammie and Dad, who is looking quite swanky in those striped overalls! Incidentally, the dress Grammie is wearing (dark blue velvet, for the record) first belonged to her mother, my great-grandmother GramMay, and I later wore it to my high school formal in 1984. One dress lasting through four generations -- impressive! I've still got it stored away, although it's not really in wearable shape any more.
