If you spend more than about 5 minutes with me, it soon becomes abundantly clear that photos play a big role in my life (as they do for most people, I suppose) -- both of my parents are excellent photographers, I love taking pictures myself, plus I've been keeping pretty organized scrapbooks since I was in high school or so. Now that I'm finally getting the hang of scanning photos well, it occurred to me that I could make a bit of a family photo album for this web site. Why, you ask? Partly just as a way of archiving the photos, some of which are very old, and sharing them with other family members, but also because I've gotten so much delight from looking at other people's old pictures from their personal web pages -- while I don't EXPECT any one else to really care what my family has looked like over time, it's here in case you're interested.
